The Proponent, Reload Logistics Namibia (Pty) Ltd intends to establish a bulk warehousing and storage facility at the Port of Walvis Bay, more specifically at Erf 1920, Port of Walvis Bay, Walvis Bay Municipal District, Erongo Region, Namibia. Reload Logistics Namibia (Pty) Ltd intends to store minerals, and hazardous substances and materials, such as copper concentrate, sulfur, copper cathodes etc., as well as mining equipment, and project cargo. The proposed activity, falls under the following listed activity: 9.1. The manufacturing, storage, handling, or processing of a hazardous substance defined in the Hazardous Substances Ordinance, 1974.
