To construct a Direct Ground Satellite Data Receiving Station at the Telecom’s Earth Station in Windhoek, that will enable Namibia to obtain remote sensing satellite data for research on Namibia’s land cover & use, atmospheric condition, environmental condition, resources distribution, among others. This project is a funded aid by the Government of the People's Republic of China, on a State-to-State agreement on Space Science and Technology.
