The ECC application is for the proposed formalisation of the existing informal Thlabanelo settlement, into the new Goreangab Extension 6 and 7 township establishment. This is done in order to comply with the requirements of the Environmental Management Act (No. 7 of 2007), and its regulations of 2012.
