240129002730 - Proposed Water Pipeline from the Kranzberg Boreholes via Karibib to Twin Hills Mine, Erongo Region

SLR Environmental Consulting Namibia (Pty) Ltd (SLR) was commissioned by Osino to undertake the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the water pipeline proposed from the Kranzberg boreholes to the Twin Hills Mine in the Erongo Region. The Project triggers listed activities (as outlined below) in terms of the EIA Regulations 2012 promulgated under the Environmental Management Act, No.7 of 2007. An Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) is required from the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism (MEFT). With the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform (MAWLR) as the Competent Authority that needs to be engaged. 10. Infrastructure 10.1 The construction of (a) oil, water, gas and petrochemical and other bulk supply pipelines. The project includes the construction of a water pipeline.
