231112002461 - THE APPLICATION TO RENEW THE ENVIRONMENTAL CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF AN EXISTING 66KV GERUS – OTJIWARONGO TRANSMISSION LINE INCLUDING OTJIWARONGO SUBSTATION.

The ECC is for the operation and maintenance of an existing 66kV Gerus – Otjiwarongo Transmission line including Otjiwarongo Substation. In 2020, NamPower obtained the Environmental Clearance Certificate for the management and operation of the 66kV Gerus – Otjiwarongo transmission line. NamPower would therefore like to apply for the renewal of the ECC for 66kV Gerus – Otjiwarongo line in order to comply with the Environmental Management Act (Act 7 of 2007) and its regulations. This application will also include the Otjiwarongo Substation that was not previously included.
