Waldschmidt Eggs pride themselves in that they are the first and only egg manufacturers in Namibia who: • Have a production date on every single egg: PD - production date example PD02.20. • Raise their own hens in Namibia with guaranteed healthy chicks imported from the Netherlands and Germany. • Provide healthy hens and can guarantee that no anti-biotics are used in the production. • Have been operating a 100% namibian business since 1959. • Have all systems operating with solar (See Figure 1 below) • Have all their eggs sorted with the latest technology with an accuracy of 0.01%. The company purchases and stores diesel on site for their fleet and farming equipment, the diesel is sourced from Engen Namibia (Pty) Ltd. ENGEN Namibia (Pty) Ltd is a leading marketer of liquid fuels and lubricants in the country and aims to ensure that all their clients and facilities are compliant with the relevant environmental and industry legislation. It is against this background that Waldschmidt Eggs have appointed Environam Consultants Trading (ETC) to apply for an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) for these installations on their behalf.
