The renewal of Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) for the construction and operation of low and medium voltage distribution lines in Oshikoto Region as part of the national Rural Electrification (RE) projects. An ECC was issued in 2019 and expired in October 2022, NamPower seek the renewal of the ECC to include one (1) new project in Oshikoto Region. The area extent in (Ha) covered by all Rural Electrification projects (Existing and new projects combined) constructed by NamPower in Oshikoto is 118 ha.
