Hence, Mr. Erich Dennis Petrus has thus applied to obtain a Mining Claims (MCs) license with a particular focus on key portions of the proposed Mining Claims. To enhance potential impact mitigation, the proponent has demarcated and marked a section of the Otjimbingwe Communal Reserve. The MC 73894 is situated in Western Namibia, within the Otjimbingwe Reserve and approximately 10 km North-west of the Otjimbingwe Settlement in the Erongo. The mining claims are is accessible directly via the 1967 district road exiting South of Otjimbingwe and then branching onto the 1953 District road to the North-western direction towards the Namib Naukluft National Park and Karibib in particular. Other section of the mining claims will only be accessed by foot to ensure minimum impacts on the receiving environment.
